We are a diverse team of international experts who are building a B2B skill-based talent management system. Our mission is to empower the mobility of people at a societal level by guiding them to discover and attain new digital skills through clever use of data, design, and technology.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a UX Writer in English to join our Product & Engineering group and help us craft unique experiences on our skill-based talent management business for our corporate customers. We want to find someone passionate about improving our software product through the combined discipline of content strategy, language, and UX.
We want to bring on an empathetic and customer-centric UX Writer who specializes in content design and information architecture to craft intuitive user journeys in English alongside our Product Designers and other UX Writers. You will create the best user experiences to help the Product & Engineering group achieve our mission for a global audience.
You will report to the Head of Design in Dojo. You will influence product strategy and design to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
We have a hybrid work style and our office is in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
OUR DESIGN STACK
You will have the chance to help us shape our design workflows and their implementation. We use:
・Figma for Hi/Lo-fi design output and journey designs
・FigJam for design facilitations and workshops
・The Atlassian suite to keep track of our design activities within an Agile Scrum framework
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Native-level English speaking and writing skills
- 6+ years in UX, marketing, communications, writing/editing, journalism, or similar creative writing experiences in English
- You have experience to convey and distill complex ideas, with examples to share
- You have experience ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout a product
- You have a command of grammar, style, and tone, and know how to apply them differently according to UX goals, tone of voice guidelines, and brand guidelines
NICE TO HAVES:
- You have experience working with or within a Product/UX design team before
- You have experience working on software products that have a global audience
- You have worked within a culturally diverse environment before
- Experience using UX Writing SaaS tools such as Ditto, Lokalise, Phrase Strings, or equivalent
