Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of user experience (UX) experience in an enterprise or business-to-business environment.
- 3+ years of experience working with agile software development teams.
- Proven experience with service design and integrating legacy systems, such as SAP or other ERP platforms.
- Proficiency in performing onsite and in-person research to inform design decisions and validate user experiences.
- Not Remote - 4 days in office

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Implements the user experience vision and purpose by developing design strategies that align with product goals and create a cohesive user experience.
- Creates comprehensive user experience (UX) design artifacts, including wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, to visually communicate design concepts and solutions and ensures that these artifacts align with the overall product vision and user needs.
- Conducts usability testing for assigned products, identifying pain points and areas for improvement, while analyzing test results to continuously refine and enhance the user experience.
- Leads and participates in the collection and analysis of user data through various research methods, synthesizing findings to inform design decisions and ensure they are rooted in real user insights.
- Collaborates with developers, product managers, and other user experience resources to brainstorm and design effective solutions, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the best possible product outcomes.
- Communicates design ideas and concepts to end users and product team member, facilitating feedback sessions to incorporate constructive input and refine designs.
- Champions design-centered thinking by advocating for user-centric design practices and ensuring their integration into the product development process.
- Seeks learning opportunities by staying updated with industry trends, participating in workshops, and continuously enhancing design expertise.
Nature and Scope
- Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
- Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
- May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
