We’re looking for a UX Designer who can join our small and energetic team who take care of the consumer marketplace. In this role you’ll learn and grow through mentoring and support, as well as have the room to use your curiosity and self starting nature to crack on.  

 

What you’ll do

  • Work on projects across consumer facing experiences, our insurance marketplace - delivering high quality solutions that help connect consumers with insurance providers
  • Understand both Everquote business needs and our end user needs to ensure we’re creating high-impact solutions
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to understand and validate ideas, continually  using insights from both qualitative and quantitative sources to inform design decisions
  • Ideate through sketching, mock-ups, storyboards & prototypes - delivering  high-fidelity designs for our e-commerce user journeys  
  • Co-create with Product, Engineering & Data Insights teams across all stages of the product development lifecycle 
  • Support the evolution of our design system to ensure we continue to grow in an efficient, scalable and consistent way
  •  Believe in a culture of feedback and actively seek out feedback on your work and approaches 
  • Be an active figure in our design community, collaborating in our design routines, contributing to our culture of continuous learning and improvement


Who we are looking forEssential Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2  years experience designing digital user experiences
  • Education in Graphic Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business or related disciplines
  • Some experience designing across the product development lifecycle, from concept through launch and beyond
  • Competency in core design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing  e-commerce user experiences, with demonstrable focus on visual and interaction design
  • Competency conducting and synthesising user research 
  • Experience with user behaviour analytics, and tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Hotjar etc.
  • Experience designing internal utility tools for business users
  • Awareness of information architecture, systems design and design systems
  • Experience working in an agile product development team
