Position Overview
The User Research Intern participates in work activities that help to drive deep insights into user experiences, behaviors, and needs. This role works within a cross-collaborative team made up of product designers and product managers, and to learn and contribute to the design process through hands-on research experiences.
Job Duties
- Assist in designing and conducting user research studies
- Collect and organize research data
- Support creation of user personas and journey maps
- Participate in research interviews and usability testing
- Document research findings and create basic presentation materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of research methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with Figma
- Demonstrated interest in user experience and product design
- Ability to work cross-culturally on a global team
- Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to perform at a high-level in a remote work environment
