Job Description

The User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) Designer will enrich residents’ lives by developing a comprehensive design strategy. Committed to excellence, they will produce high-quality solutions and intuitive elements. They will innovate, test, and collaborate to deliver tailored experiences. Conducting user research and creating appealing applications, they will always prioritize integrity. Their proficiency in data visualization and UX principles will elevate the team, leaving a lasting legacy in UI/UX design.

• Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.

• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.

• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.

• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.

• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.

• Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.

• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.

• Actively participating in conducting user research and evaluating user feedback.

• Creating appealing and delightful experiences on consumer-facing applications.

• Expertise in transforming intricate data into comprehensible visual representations for an enhanced user understanding.

• Justifying design decisions with solid rationales based on UX principles, empirical data, and research.

• Proficiency in creating all types of mock-ups, including high and low fidelity, wireframes, and click-through mock-ups.

• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.

• Demonstrates the ability to design across multiple products, each with unique functions, while preserving the consistent look and feel of the brand.

Qualifications:

• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.

• Must possess a high level of empathy, with the ability to intuitively understand and address user needs.

• Commitment to delivering value to users.

• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in at least one of the design software tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, etc.

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, Ionic, etc).

• Experienced or Willingness to learn Flutter and use FlutterFlow for interactive prototyping, building apps

• Basic understanding of TypeScript and backend development.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS or combination of industry certifications and equivalent related work experience of 5 years or more

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

• High level of initiative and resourcefulness.

• Passionate about technology and enriching the lives of customers.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with mobile app development using Ionic & Flutter, Dart.

• Experience with usability testing and incorporating user feedback.

• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• The candidate should possess a solid understanding of design thinking principles and methodologies.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
