Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a Unit/ PM Coordinator to join the Palisades Nuclear Plant team in Covert, MI.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the development and management of the stations long range schedule including the coordination of all on-line LCO/AOT activities, summer reliability management and winter preparation, as appropriate, in accordance with EN-WM-109. Overall responsibility for the management and coordination of the stations work management process from T-24 thru T-6 where responsibility is transferred to the respective work week manager.
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Chairs the T-10 and T-6 work coordination meetings and participates in the T-24 and T-15 process meetings representing work management and scheduling.
  • Directs and coordinates the efforts of the discipline schedulers in developing an integrated schedule for the 9 simultaneous weeks of T-15 thru T-6 on a continuous basis. Maintains the capability to back up and assume the responsibility of the work week managers.
  • Acts as a system outage coordinator when assigned. Assumes the responsibility for the Supt, Online Maintenance Scheduling in his/her absence. Addresses any CR’s associated with the work management process between T-15 and T-6 and any other region as assigned.
  • Maintains a continuous action tracking record for all work weeks in his/her control and manages the resolution of those issues. Participates in the post work week critiques to learn and improve the process for subsequent work weeks.
  • Participates in fleet process improvement initiatives and peer meetings as required. Performs First Line Supervisor duties. Performs field observations of personnel to reinforce standards and expectations and identify gaps in performance.
  • Works with management to identify and address performance deficiencies. Recommends and implements actions to improve gaps to operational excellence. Responds to Incident Forms and attends MARC meetings as required.

 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
Post high school education highly desired or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
5 years’ experience in scheduling, planning or maintenance supervision/coordination.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Proficient in the use of Primavera scheduling software.
  • Detailed station system knowledge desired through training or by experience at the station.
  • Must be an effective communicator able to coordinate the efforts and input of various department personnel not directly accountable to that individual.


 Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position:
SRO certification or previous RO/SRO license in the reactor type for the station highly desired.
