What is this position about?

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing user interface designs with a focus on responsive layouts, optimizing front-end performance, and ensuring compatibility across various devices. You will also be key in developing and maintaining reusable component libraries and integrating with back-end APIs and AI models to deliver seamless user experiences. 

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office! 

Job Description

• Develop and implement user interface designs based on wireframes and prototypes, ensuring responsive layouts for optimal viewing experiences across devices. 

• Analyze and optimize front-end performance, addressing compatibility issues and improving load times to enhance user satisfaction. 

• Create and maintain reusable component libraries to promote consistency and efficiency in UI development. 

• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and AI models, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality. 

• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices, including version control and documentation. 

• Provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment and encouraging skill development. 

Qualifications

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. 

• Experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on UI design and implementation. 

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and React. 

• Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation). 

• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility. 

• Familiarity with back-end integration, including RESTful APIs and AI model integration. 

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

What about languages? 

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

• In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 3+ years of experience as an UI Engineer.
