The Treasury Solutions Associate (TSA) is client focused supporting up to 2 Treasury Management Officers (TMO). The TSA directly supports their TMO’s by contributing to sales targets, deepening the existing book via portfolio management, and appropriately managing internal and external relationships and expectations. This role can provide career advancement into a more Senior TSA role based on growth and skill progression.

Responsibilities

  • Company Research
  • Wallet Share identification
  • Industry Analysis
  • Assemble key data elements both internally and externally to present to the TSO/Relationship Manager
  • Align internal partners (Operations, Onboarding, Client Service) when required to obtain deal specific needs
  • “Pitch Prep” including price model and pitchbook development
  • Leverage working capital concepts and tactics
  • Independent calling on tenured clients for functional relationship reviews, client service issues, self identified cross-sell
  • Develop trusted relationships with top fee/deposit clients in each TSO portfolio
  • Quarterly client “reach out” to Top 20 fee/deposit clients in each TSO portfolio
  • Understand financial levers in portfolio and be able to identify trends, gaps and issues
  • Identify and act on negative variance clients and positive variance clients in an effort to retain or grow revenue
  • Assist TSO in maintaining an “At Risk” list of clients to drive internal awareness, resolve issues or predict revenue runoff
  • Revenue realization review to ensure proper revenue ramp for new and existing client sales
  • Drive action and response to “asks” from internal partners (Operations, Onboarding, Client Service, other)
  • Proper portfolio management to identify and present internal opportunities to meet soft cross-sell goals
  • Ensures client issues are routed to Client Service for first pass resolution, remains engaged to support escalations in TSO’s absence
  • Oversee weekly “On Track / Off Track” implementations to ensure speed to revenue
  • Follow up as instructed by TSO in providing materials to clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or similar degree) required
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or commercial banking or treasury is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills required
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word & Excel) required
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, work ethic and attitude
  • Self-Starter, takes initiative and has an intellectual curiosity
  • Superb team skills and supportive to other teammates and groups
  • Excellent time management skills
