Commercial Card Account Manager

The Treasury Solutions Commercial Card Account Manager is responsible for participating in revenue generation, expansion and maintenance of the Texas Capital Bank Commercial Card business by managing a portfolio of Commercial Card ePayables relationships to achieve growth, retention, and profitability goals. With a primary focus on strategic partnering, the Commercial Card Account Manager interacts with Relationship Managers, Treasury Solutions and Commercial Card Sales, Operations, Product Management, and other cross-functional groups as necessary to provide outstanding service from a solution and support perspective to the clients in her/his assigned portfolio. This position will interact with other business lines to further cross-sell the relationship and will have external interaction with industry professionals, agencies promoting our brand, group, and organization.

With a primary focus on strategic partnering, the Commercial Card Account Manager interacts with clients’ program manager(s) and will work with Relationship Managers (RMs), Treasury Solutions Officers (TSOs) and Treasury Solutions Analysts (TSAs) with the directive to grow spend and profitability in their assigned portfolio.

Additional or expanded areas of focus include:

  • Manage, grow and retain clients in their existing portfolio.
  • Provide program reviews to ensure client goals are met and projected card spend ramps accordingly.
  • Collaborating with clients: Working with clients to understand their program objectives and structure.
  • Cross-sell other bank card solutions.
  • Leverage industry benchmarking tools and other internal data analytics to assist clients with growth opportunities.
  • Leverage other departments to include needed resources.
  • Client and teammate experience at the center of most if not all key strategies and tactics.
  • Developing account plans: Working with the Relationship Manager and Treasury Solutions Officer to create annual account plans for managing portfolio.
  • Preparing for client calls: Creating pitchbooks, relationship review materials, and conducting customer research.
  • Understand the market to properly differentiate our products from other issuers.
  • Effectively communicate and engage key leaders within the bank to guide and lead partners to drive greater performance and client experience.
  • Ensure all teammates understand and embrace Texas Capital Bank core values, compliance and illustrate strong business ethics.
  • Drive a culture of spirited competitiveness, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Finance, Economic, Accounting or equivalent experience) required. Master’s degree in accounting and or CTP certification a plus
  • 5 or more years of commercial card experience required
  • Proven experience as a change leader improving the results and quality of the client experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required.
  • Must be highly motivated and be able to motivate her/his peers and influence partners in other areas to achieve goals.

Some travel required.
