WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
Our Interns are hired for a 10-week immersive experience where they learn the fundamentals of portfolio analytics and valuations in addition to experiencing the culture of Revantage . Summer interns are immediately a part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships with their fellow interns, manager, and assigned mentor. During the internship, individuals will receive training and work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business. Summer interns also have the opportunity to network with various professionals through organized social events. Finally, each summer intern will work with an assigned mentor to complete a project and present their findings with other interns to the executive leadership team. This position is based out of Revantage's Chicago, IL office.
Our 2025 summer internship program will begin June 2025 and last through August 2025. To be eligible, you must be a college student during the time of the internship program.
Why This Role Is Valuable
The Treasury Intern is a key contributor to the Treasury Operations team supporting all cash & banking activities. This role will interact with vendors, property operators, portfolio companies, internal departments, and Blackstone. This position is based out of Revantage's Chicago, IL office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with verifying payment instructions
- Review and deposit checks, verifying amounts and bank account, and assist with mailing checks to property operators.
- Assist Accounts Payable with voiding checks
- Assist with Bank Account & Treasury Workstation maintenance
- Sort, log and deliver mail
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Required:
- Current junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution (graduating 2026)
- Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, or business with a finance/accounting concentration
- Minimum 3.2 GPA
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- Ability to work in Chicago in a full-time capacity for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025
- Solid understanding of Accounting, Finance, and Business principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative and spreadsheet skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, self-starter, team player, and have ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
