As a Senior Associate in the Commercial Banking Payments Treasury Consulting organization, you contribute significantly to your team's success by bringing a deep knowledge of the industry and products, with an understanding of what it takes to bring together all the key elements to ensure coordinated outcomes for our clients and prospects.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate on consulting engagements to understand clients' current processes, challenges, and priorities
- Partner with deal teams and management, including Banking and Treasury Officers, to create industry-modified solutions for our clients
- Assist with the development of client and prospect presentations and collateral for both internal and external audiences, while taking ownership of post-client meeting activities
- Research and analyze client and industry data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Support the Treasury Consultant in engagement and client delivery with the vetting, scoping, and execution of the client engagement through note taking, producing consulting output, and client presentations
- Assist with the development of case studies, white papers, thought leadership pieces, and internal team materials for sales enablement purposes
- Help guide the generation of ideas to develop and build new tools for internal and client use that improve the client experience
- Oversee and manage internal initiatives and strategy (e.g., team learning & development, new segment support strategies, stakeholder management approaches, etc.)
- Develop strong treasury acumen via structured and self-paced training focused on treasury thought leadership, understanding trends in treasury, banking and payments, and JPMorgan's core cash / Treasury services product suite
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience in supporting product solution development and/or sales within the industry
- Experience transforming data into actionable insights for internal and external client-facing use
- Proven ability to think strategically and transform abstract ideas into an action plan
- Strong focus on delivering product value through effective, iterative cycles of product development
- Advanced/Strong Microsoft office skills needed, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Familiarity with Treasury process and knowledge of the order to cash, and the procure to pay processes, daily cash processes, bank account and relationship management
- Strong project management skills; well-organized, structured approach; ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables; ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, technical, team player, strong work ethic
- Travel Requirements: 25% - 50%
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working in a large corporate treasury or cash operations (accounts payable and accounts receivable) team or in a treasury consulting capacity
- Familiarity and recent user experience with Treasury Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Programs, and other technology solutions that support Treasury, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Knowledge of J.P. Morgan Treasury Services products
