SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Treasury Analyst will ensure that all daily deadlines for cash reporting and wire requests are met and that transactions are recorded on a timely basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Initiate cash transfers and wire requests.
- Prepare documents and reports for accounts and cash management services.
- Reconcile daily transactions using applicable reports, spreadsheets, online banking and established procedures.
- Assemble Daily Cash Position reporting utilizing TMS, banking portals, and Excel.
- Research issues and take corrective action, as appropriate.
- Assemble data and other information for projects, special reports, summaries and related documents.
- Assist Treasurer/Treasury Manager with special projects as assigned.
- Assist Treasurer with Forecast reporting
- Research and recover outstanding unclaimed property refunds for all owned entities
- Deposit refund checks via remote deposit within banking portals and prepare appropriate reporting for accounting reconciliation
- Bank portal administrator

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily working indoors, office environment, on a hybrid basis.
- May sit for several hours at a time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- College degree, BS or BA
- Minimum 2 years office experience in banking operations or accounting field
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), must be comfortable using vlookups and pivot tables
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CTP designation
- Experience using Yardi or similar property management program
- Experience using FIS/Integrity or similar treasury management system (TMS)
- Experience working in property management, real estate or similar program
- Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
- Clerical— Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Economics and Accounting— Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
