This role is the sole representative for Travel & Procurement in the APJ (Asia-Pacific & Japan) region, working closely with global teams in a remote environment while ensuring seamless travel and procurement operations. About The Role:

Travel Management (APJ Region)

  • Manage corporate travel across the APJ region, ensuring smooth arrangements for employees.
  • Act as the primary contact for travel agencies, airlines, and hotels.
  • Handle travel requests, approvals, and last-minute changes with efficiency.
  • Negotiate corporate rates with hotels, airlines, and travel service providers.
  • Assist employees with travel-related issues, including visa applications and itinerary modifications.
  • Ensure travel policies are adhered to and provide guidance on compliance.
  • Support VIP and executive travel requirements.
  • Analyze travel spending patterns and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

Procurement Responsibilities (APJ Region)

  • Oversee procurement operations across APJ, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct purchase requirements analysis and support sourcing initiatives.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to optimize cost and value.
  • Benchmark vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
  • Manage procurement requests and coordinate approvals with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, HR and Marketing teams on purchasing processes.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
  • Ensure procurement policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist in procurement reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams in different time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools is an advantage.
