Travel CAT Scan Technologist

Job Title: CAT Scan Tech

Position Type: Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Location: Morristown, NJ.

Shift Details:

1.Sun, Mon, Tue 7p-8a overnight including call.

2. Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm including call

3, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat 9p-7a including call

Compensation Details:

• Gross Pay Rate: $79/hr
• Stipend available for 50 miles away candidates.

• The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks.
• Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintains sterility of field and instruments.
• Correctly prepares requisitions.
• Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate
• anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient.
• Assists in maintaining CT storeroom, outside inventory.
• Participates in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
• Adheres to venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• When doing cases that require immediate results such as Code Grey, Trauma and Partial
• Trauma the images will be acquired ,processed , sent and verified/completed in PACS / RIS system per established protocol(Immediately after acquisition for Code Grey).
• The CT technologist will notify the radiologist as Code Grey images are being sent and follow with any processed data after.
• All staff should notify the radiologist of ANY unusual finding to provide the optimum care for the patient.

Required Education:

• HS diploma/GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or
• College based Radiography program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT RT (R)
• ARRT RT (CT)
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
