Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture.  The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Training Specialist. The Training Specialist position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the sitewide GMP, HR, and Safety training programs and facilitating contractor training through utilization and administration of an electronic Learning Management System (LMS).  The Training Specialist will work in cooperation and alignment with department and site leadership and Operations Training Coordinators to design, plan, implement, and maintain GMP Training Programs

This is a full-time role position: Monday-Friday, Days. Salary, Onsite

The Role  

  • Serve as site administrator of the Learning Management System by establishing & maintaining user accounts, training courses, and curricula
  • Facilitate and maintain the Site Contractor Training Program, working closely with sponsors and area-owners to ensure contractors are appropriately trained
  • Assist Training Systems Manager with measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of the overall site training program by conducting routine system assessments and provides input to development of long-term plans to enhance overall effectiveness of the training program
  • Assist Instructional Designer with developing, implementing, and managing high-quality training content for both GMP and non-GMP purposes
  • Partner with qualified trainers and department personnel to develop training modules and program
  • Creation/revision of SOPs, forms, and work instructions related to the above processes.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft software (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clear understanding of SOPs, cGMP, and applicable pharmaceutical regulations as required to accomplish daily tasks and projects
  • All other duties as assigned; 

The Candidate 

  • Required a High School Diploma with three years of experience designing and delivering educational content to adult learners in fast-paced office environment is required.
  • Bachelors Degree highly preferred
  • Administrative experience with electronic Learning Management Systems highly desired.
  • GMP experience preferred
  • Possess good communication and problem-solving skills is a must
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, ComplianceWire, SharePoint, TrackWise, Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, and other software systems is a plus
  • Ability to work well with people of diverse cultures preferred
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
