Why Patients Need You
Everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to the quality and the delivery of safe and effective products to patients. Our science and risk-based compliant quality culture is flexible, innovative, and customer oriented. Whether you are involved in development, maintenance, compliance, or analysis through research programs, your contribution will directly impact patients.
What You Will Achieve
We seek an innovative Ph.D.-level scientist to join our Analytical Research and Development team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on advancing analytical testing for nucleic acid biotherapeutics. Our group develops and validates analytical methods to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of biopharmaceutical products. The qualified candidate will be responsible for developing advanced, novel analytical technologies to support process development and characterization of nucleic acids products including various RNA modalities. This is a unique opportunity to be trained in nucleic acid quality assessment, Next-generation sequencing and data analysis, to work collaboratively with research teams within Pfizer, and to publish in high-impact journals. By the end of the program, the Postdoc will be proficient in NGS technologies and nucleic acid quality analysis and will be fully prepared to independently lead state-of-the-art research and development of biopharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate should have solid training in molecular biology, RNA handling, and experience with NGS library preparation and sequencing.
How You Will Achieve It
Demonstrate strong technical and scientific rigor in project planning and gap identification.
Proactively conduct literature search to gather relevant information to form hypothesis for testing experimentally.
Design and perform next generation sequencing assays to characterize quality attributes for nucleic acid biotherapeutics.
Make data-driven decisions in shaping direction of their research project.
Generate and effectively communicate results regularly at internal meetings, external conferences, and in high-impact journals.
