We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Training Coordinator to partner with Intellectual/Developmental Disability provider organizations within the state of NH to train and operationalize Aspire's Direct Support Professional (DSP) Peer and manager Mentorship programs.   

The Training Coordinator (TC) at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in responsible coordinating and facilitating Aspire Living & Learning’s educational components.  This person is a member of the People and Culture Team, reporting to the workplace learning championing workplace learning initiatives. 

 Compensation: $60,000 per year 

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Please note this position is grant funded, through December 31, 2025. 

Location: Bedford, NH. Travel to provider agency locations is required throughout NH.    

The TC will partner with the Training Manager, executing this externally facing mentorship project. Bringing Aspires mentorship programs; DSP Peer and Managerial, to NH agencies who will contract with Aspire to receive training and materials key to Mentorship Programs. Agencies will be those in the IDD space, wishing to support employee development and retention through this support tool, called Mentorship. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred 
  • Must have at least five years’ experience in a management role in a human service setting  
  • Must have satisfactory background checks  
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record 

Skills and Abilities:  

  • Adept with technology 
  • Capacity to operate effectively across geographic or educational locations 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing and relationship building 
  • Excellent oral/written communications skills including group facilitation and presentation skills; 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques and evaluation methodologies  

 Working Conditions: 

  • This position operates in a professional office environment. 
  • Some infrequent day and/or overnight travel possible.   
  • Some holiday work required to meet the operational need.
