Training Coordinator
In this role, you are responsible for coordinating training and education programs to ensure the strategic goals of the Kennewick facility (around 150 employees) are met. This facility specializes in producing high-precision titanium tube products for demanding markets such as Aerospace and Medical.
You will report to the Human Resources Manager and be responsible for organizing, developing, and administering training and education programs for the organization. This includes department-specific training, on-the-job training, EHS training, and initiatives for training improvement and online course creation/development. This position will be actively engaged on the production floor, ensuring that required training is developed, scheduled, and completed effectively within the required timeframes. You will provide leadership through effective communication and personal behavior, fostering a culture of a learning organization.
Your responsibilities:
- Schedule and organize on-site and off-site trainings.
- Create, develop and maintain online courses to enhance training standardization and effectiveness.
- Continuously improve training programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Review training records and ensure that all employees are following their training.
- Maintain digital training records and checklists.
- Participate in flow managers' whiteboard meetings and communicate relevant information.
- Think proactively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined within the company’s published management system documentation.
About You: We are looking for someone with solid experience in supporting training and people development, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A High School diploma is required, and post-secondary education or equivalent experience in human resources or a technical environment is a plus. Experience in training and development and online course development is highly desirable.
You are detail-oriented, proactive, and have a proven history of successfully working on a project from start to finish. You take a hands-on approach to solving problems and delivering solutions. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, as are your organizational and trouble-shooting skills.
What you can expect from us
The salary range for this position is $67,600 to $84,500 annually with a 10% annual bonus and annual merit eligibility.
Additional elements of the compensation package include medical, dental, vision insurance as well as company paid disability and life insurance. We offer paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year and a 401 (K) retirement savings plan that has a 5% company contribution with company match of 50% for the first 6% you invest.
