Admin II -Training Coordinator
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Admin II -Training Coordinator must display excellent communication and people skills and maturity in coordinating and managing the day to day operations of the Technical Operator Program. This individual will be responsible for working with all levels of employees throughout Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds and other Business Units to manage schedules and prepare classroom items. This position may require a flexible schedule on some occasions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Translates training materials from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Assists with administrative tasks such as maintaining training reports on student progress, scores, ordering tools and class materials, and other consumables.
- Manages class schedules, works with Business Unit departments to schedule employees, and ensures classes are staffed with trainers.
- Ensures that trainer materials and student materials are prepared and ready.
- Ensures classroom tech and labs are setup and ready.
- Attends customer FMDS meetings.
- Talks to managers/supervisors regarding potential candidates and negotiates student availability. Coordinates and plans with technical services team for teaching resources.
- May be asked to teach.
- May be asked to assist in gathering information for future training projects.
- Consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Language skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) is required
- Superior critical thinking skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
Reasoning ability
- Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Requires a high degree of tact, initiative, accuracy, judgment and superior interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of business practices and procedures
Computer skills
- Strong PC skills (proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Pay Range $19.60/hr
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education / Experience
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
• Up to 1 year of related experience recommended.
