Have you completed or are about to complete your studies and are looking forward to contributing your acquired knowledge and creative ideas to our company?
Over a period of 18 months, you will gain a comprehensive insight into Research, Development & Innovation at various locations in an international environment and actively shape the future of the Evonik portfolio. You will be supported by experienced colleagues from the Research, Development & Innovation department. In addition, you will be mentored by managers and you will develop your technical and methodological skills both on-the-job and off-the-job in workshops and seminars. You will have the opportunity to work together with other Evonik trainees on a project focusing on social and sustainability issues. During a three-month stay abroad, you will be able to deepen your international skills.

The final selection of applicants will take place at the beginning of July as part of an assessment center.

Trainee Programs for Young Professionals - Evonik Industries

Responsibilities

As a part of the trainee program, you will get a broad overview of the Research, Development & Innovation department of Evonik. You will get to know different innovation areas and functions, work on innovation projects in Germany and abroad and gain insights into the innovation strategy.

• You will get the chance to expand your technical know-how and apply it in the field of Research, Development & Innovation

• Assignments at various locations as well as in various business areas and departments are awaiting you to build a network within the Research, Development & Innovation department

• During your assignment abroad you will get to know the different processes, programs and instruments in a national and international context

• You can be excited to independently take over projects in operational management, as preparation for a responsible management and/or specialist task in the field of Research, Development & Innovation

• You will receive mentoring from experienced managers and work together with other trainees in the Group on an interdisciplinary basis

Requirements

• You have completed your academic education and doctorate with above-average success in chemistry, biochemistry or business chemistry

• You have gained your first practical and international experience through an internship of at least three months

• Your German and English language skills are very good

• You have excellent analytical skills and can develop creative solutions

• You are a team player and your strengths include open-mindedness, initiative, excellent communication skills and a flexible way of working and thinking

• You are nationally and internationally mobile during and after the program
