We are looking for a Trainee Data Engineer (Lviv location only) for our client - a US company that is specialized in delivering reliable Internet connectivity and entertainment multimedia to aircrafts for USA, enhancing the experience for both passengers and crew.
Responsibilities:
- Support of existed Big Data solutions
- Develop Ad-Hoc reports, prepare data for reports
- Create ETL/ELT pipelines and data management solutions
- Monitoring existed solution and cluster performance and health.
- Add features to AWS based Big Data solution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong data analysis skills - ability to identify, analyze and integrate various large complex data sources
- A passion for working with huge data sets
- Good SQL skills, general understanding of RDBMS (we have a lot of different data sources)
- Strong Python skills, familiarity with the pandas tool is also a big plus.
- Bash Commands and Scripting
- Good to know Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, and Airflow.
- At least Intermediate Strong English level
