Position Summary: The Trade Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing strategies that drive brand equity, market share, and sales growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. The Trade Marketing Director will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of trade marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Shopper Insights:
    • Understand specific customers and shoppers needs to develop turn-key trade marketing plans and activation programs.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the annual Marketing and Sales planning.
    • Define the operational marketing plan aligning with Marketing and Commercial teams, including policies for brand visibility, activation, and promotion.
    • Develop portfolio solutions that cater to market demands.
  • Implementation and Monitoring:
    • Oversee the implementation of the trade marketing plan.
    • Monitor brand activation performance in trade, assessing execution levels and customer/shopper acceptance impact.
    • Test and experiment with new ways to activate our brands in the trade, leveraging new technology.
  • Team and Budget Management:
    • Manage and develop the trade marketing team.
    • Activity, communication integration between MKTG - TMKTG – SALES.
    • Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ professional experience in FMCG related organization gathered in trade marketing or/ and sales or/and marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies in large organizations with the ability to bring order and structure to the team.
  • Ability to drive change and achieve greater success and exposure for the organization.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • An all-rounder who can handle various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
