As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within Futures and Options Reconciliation, you will provide an effective reconciliation and settlement service of exchange traded derivatives and OTC products to both internal and external clients of JP Morgan. JP Morgan is a clearing member on over 60 Futures & Options exchanges globally. You will be involved in processing OTC derivative products which includes Interest Rate Swaps, and Credit Default Swaps, which are cleared on Global Derivatives Exchange. Another part of the role would involve regular Futures & Options products, as well as Nostros reconciliations. You will be part of the Manila Regional Operations Centre (ROC) will be JP Morgan's preferred hub for a wide range of operational support for our OTC derivatives business.
Job responsibilities:
- Drive the development of the OTC offering and ensuring that reconciliations are completed and managed effectively
- Maintain accurately both at the exchange and within the internal clearing system
- Ensure trade and position breaks are escalated and resolved on trade date + 1
- Review processes regularly and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency
- Ensure that all procedures are kept up to date and easily accessible
- Perform any ad hoc requests of the team are dealt with in an appropriate manner
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- At least 3 years experience within relevant field
- Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately, whilst remaining focused on 'the big picture'
- Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practices
- Flexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the working place
- Strong intellectual curiosity for process improvements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure
- Strong time management skills required to meet the many internal and external deadlines
- Good PC skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- OTC Product Knowledge - Interest Rate Swaps and Credit Default Swaps preferably
- F&O Knowledge - (some Market & Product Knowledge for North American & European markets would be advantageous)
