System support & BI Specialist

About the role 

We are looking for a hybrid technical/business figure to insert in the Commercial Excellence local team. The purpose will be: 

• Support Commercial Excellence and Senior System & BI Specialist in develop and maintain company Datawarehosue (backend ETL and interfaces, frontend reporting, new developments) 

• Support Sales and Commercial Excellence in the usage of company local and global Business Execution and reporting tools 

• Support and improve reports and analysis to sustain achievement of financial and strategic targets 

Key responsibilities 

Support the Commercial Excellence team in: 

• Assuring business continuity, acting as L1 support point of contact in various areas: 

• maintenance of the local SQL Datawarehouse 

• maintenance of the local COMEX operations tools (Akeron TP and Board) and ticket management to support local team 

• L1 Support and MDM maintenance of the local SALES iPad app ARGO 

• ticket management to support local team 

Also:

• Supporting the “Front End” part of BI projects to match business local needs focusing especially on PowerBI reports development and support in Data Modelling and final documentation 

• Liaise with external vendors supporting local Applications 

• Training new entries on the analytical tools and spreading data culture across the organisation 

• Support master data maintenance (includes files reworking from the business stakeholders for database ingestion) 

• Backup in business activities the Senior Specialist 

Qualifications and skills 

• 3 years of experience in a similar role 

• Fair knowledge of programming, especially Relational DB (SQL) languages 

• Interest in Data Science, aspiring to develop a specialized profile that can mix both technical and business skills 

• Ability to build visuals and report that explain business performance in an easy-to-understand way for key stakeholders 

• Problem solving skills 

• Italian and English fluent 

• Ability to work in team 

• Use of all office package (with focus on Excel, Access as a plus) 

• Experience as analyst or analyst support in finance, sales/commercial and/or marketing is a plus
