Job Description
- Responsible for Tool Cost Management (Tool Stock and Tool Cost KPIs)
- Coordination and development of Tool Workshop Area (10 DIR HC, Tool preparation and pre-adjustment activities) and Special Workshop Area (2 DIR HC, Implementation of special processes for serial production)
- Coordination of tool management and special workshop activities (including 5S and HSE partnership)
- Responsible for tracking orders of new- and re-sharpening tools and spare parts within BuP2
- Coordinate together with purchasing the orders escalation management of critical delays of orders
- Reducing inventory cost in terms of idle / unused tools
- Focusing on quality problems and improvement projects
- Managing tool receipt control activities
- Coordination of fixture maintenance activities
Qualifications
- BSc/Ms.Degree in Engineering
- Knowledge about manufacturing tools
- Procurement background and knowledge
- SAP good knowledge
- Very good English skills (written and spoken). Knowledge of German is preferred.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with a high degree of flexibility within a changing workplace environment.
- Ability to secure cooperation and assistance from others to achieve defined objectives of the role.
- Ability to manage one's own time, set priorities, plan, monitor and organize work in order to meet specific time frames
- and allocated tasks within the role
- Precise and systematic working style with an analytical mindset
- Team-work awareness and the ability of cross departments working
- Understanding of different cultures and working styles
- Knowledge about machining processes (milling, turning,grinding)
- Project management knowledge is preferred.
