Summary
Under the general supervision of the Senior Manager, Linkex Systems, the TMS Administrator serves as the site administrator for TMS solutions through user maintenance, security administration, and roles/permissions setup.
Responsibilities
- Creates and delivers end user documents and training.
- Troubleshoots and conducts root cause analysis of issues and errors.
- Assists with carrier and customer onboarding through requirement gathering for design and testing.
- Ensures all system and process changes are effectively tested and communicated to the team.
- Creates and manages carrier and customer contracts/rate tables to support various pricing initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business or Technology
- 5+ years of experience in the transportation industry
- 2+ years of experience with MercuryGate TMS
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic project management skills and effective time management
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and proven problem resolution skills
- Experience with MercuryGate Easy Click implementation is a plus
- Experience with MercuryGate's CARMA carrier management tool
- Familiar with MercuryEdge and MOJO optimization tool
- Familiar with EDI and XML
