About the Role:
As a transportation management Operations Intern at Uber Freight, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of logistics operations. You will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day activities, including shipment coordination and stakeholder communication, ensuring seamless execution of logistics workflows. This role will challenge you to think critically and act decisively in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.

Basic Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors on International Business, Political Relations, Logistics or a related technical subject area
- Skills: Urgency, decision-making, proactivity, responsibility.
- Language: Intermediate/English (required).
- Front Office: Email drafting, calendar management.
- Software Proficiency:
- Excel (Basic-Intermediate).
- Word (Basic).
- Outlook (Basic, including cloud email, calendar, and email formatting).
- OneNote (Basic, page and content editing).
- Abilities: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, multitasking, time management, assertive communication (written and verbal) in Spanish and English.
- Availability to work part-time, 30 hours/ week
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in managing communication across various stakeholders through email and calendar tools.
- Support the operations team by analyzing data, identifying trends, and proposing actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to address logistical challenges and maintain efficiency in daily tasks.
- Draft professional correspondence in English and Spanish as needed.
- Take part in brainstorming and strategizing to improve operational workflows.
