We are looking for a strong experienced leader to manage the Factory Internal operations for carriers, transportation, and container yard and factory warehouse. The ideal candidate must have experience with vendor relations and cross border operations with proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Operations Management (Planning & Support, Carrier Management, Transportation Management & Container Yard Management)
- Prepare yard daily report for customer (Yard status, Aging status, Drivers attendance status, Issues, etc).
- Coordinate schedule to bring empties and export loads with border crossing companies based on production schedule.
- Analyze reasonable input truck based on the production plan.
- KPI Management and reporting, Site Maintenance
- Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, briefing team leaders daily regarding issues
- Manage carrier allocation and prepare for peak season
- Plan and execute the quarterly and monthly business reviews with carriers
- Utilizes Standard Operating Procedures to resolve and correct problems
- Participate in carrier yearly bidding for whole SDS operation
- Manage On-Time delivery vs. RDD (required delivery dates) & Appointments
- Check yard capacity status for internal and external yard.
- Monitor and coordinate for pending internal movement request from each plant
- Decide and arrange for overtime approval (drivers, employee) based on the request from each dept.
- Constantly monitor and improve business application tools to ensure smooth operations to support business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 10+ years of logistics managerial experience is required
- Bilingual Korean/Spanish required (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience in improving business processes via continuous process review and incorporation of available Systems technologies.
- Quick thinking and able to make decisions for quick corrective action ensuring problems are overcome.
- Willingness to build & implement processes while managing the day to day in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated skills in planning, cross-group collaboration, analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to draft, edit, and proofread executive communication in the form of Word and PPT documents
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Experience & passion for working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Travel %: ability to travel up to 5% in U.S. and Tijuana, Mexico
