Our end-to-end technology solutions cover a wide range of needs for Banking, Financial Services, Utilities, Insurance, Retail organisations, and beyond.We are looking for a Testing Team Leader to guide, monitor, and lead a team of testers while also advising team members on technical issues. The role involves overseeing all team activities, distributing information to team members and stakeholders, and planning the team's day-to-day work in coordination with the responsible statutory staff and the Delivery Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and motivate a team of testers, testing specialists or security testing specialists;
- Act as a contact point for all team members and, when required, as operational contact point for the services of the Contracting Authority;
- Prepare and attend operational meetings for the specific service to be provided;
- Contribute to the overall planning of the activities of the organisational structure of the Contracting Authority where he/she is integrated, including drafting and reviewing documents, planning and guiding the testing according to the adopted methodology, and providing, as required, also input to strategy for the service and related initiatives;
- Follow up and report on all activities of the team, escalating whenever necessary;
- Control adherence to the standards, procedures and recommendations of the Contracting Authority;
- Perform quality control of adherence to deadlines, and where applicable, to Contracting Authority standards, of the output of the team members;
- Ensure continuity of the service;
- Apply corrective measures;
- Propose improvement to the service or the organisation of the work;
- Produce adequate periodic reporting to the responsible statutory staff on the activities of the team, its members and him/herself;
- Ensure that all activities and duties comply fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
- A MSc in a related field;
- Experience in a similar position (team leader, project manager, project leader, etc.) at least 3 years;
- Proven experience in coordination and management of projects relevant to the service to be provided;
- Proven experience in implementing and following quality procedures;
- Experience of implementation and/work in contexts with application of ICT good practices and standards, especially ones relating to the activity foreseen for the specific team(s) (e.g. ISO25000, ISTQB, NIST SP800, ISO270001, OWASP);
- Excellent technical knowledge in the area covered by the team specialisation;
- Preferably one or more certifications or proven trainings relevant for the area of activity of the supervised team(s);
- Knowledge and/or experience of working with, and/or in activities following, different project management, development and service management approaches, standards and references (e.g. Agile, DevSecOps, Prince2, PMI, PM2, RUP, PMM4EP, ENGAGE, ITIL or equivalent);
- Very good knowledge of English (Level C1) or very good knowledge of French (Level C1). Knowledge of both languages, one at C1 level and the other at B2 level in any configuration, is required;
- Proven organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
- Writing and communication skills, including the ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
- Autonomy, ability to work with minimum supervision;
- Sense of responsibility and initiative.
