Test Mechanical Design Engineer (Entry-Level, Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior)

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Test Mechanical Design Engineers with knowledge of aircraft mechanical design and stress analysis methods and engineering principles to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level, Associate, Mid-Level and Senior level Test Mechanical Design Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:

Perform Mechanical Design for aircraft and test components in engineering design suites (Catia, NX, etc.)

Provide guidance on structural design and configuration development

Work with the team to integrate component-level structural models and perform integrated analysis, using finite element methods, to develop internal loads and stresses in order to verify structural integrity

Participate in the resolution of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer (internal and external)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Ability to support occasional domestic travel to support our customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Levels 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
3+ years’ of relevant experience with aircraft stress/structural analysis
-
3+ years’ experience in Finite Element Methods specifically the ability to independently construct, execute, review, and manage finite element models
-
3+ years’ of experience with hand (classical) structural analysis
-
Experience validating or verifying finite element model results

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Entry-Level: $65,450 – $88,550
Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $76,500 – $103,500
Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level: $95,200 – $128,800
Summary pay range for Senior Level: $115,600 – $156,400
