We are looking for a QA Test Lead to join our company and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of game features. In this role, you will oversee Functionality QA (FQA) projects, manage test planning and execution, and support a team in delivering high testing standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, QA teams, and clients, ensuring projects run smoothly while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for QA related queries and ensure the delivery of high-quality test coverage
- Collaborate with supervisors to assess project needs, define testing objectives, and ensure proper staffing and resource allocation
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on test progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client expectations are met
- Oversee test planning, test case creation, and execution, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements
- Maintain and update QA documentation, including test plans, bug reports, and checklists
- Ensure QA metrics and test results are properly tracked and used to drive continuous improvements in testing processes
- Manage risk assessment and escalate issues effectively
- Lead, mentor and onboard a team of QA Technicians, QA Analysts, and Associate QA Test Leads, promoting a growth mindset and professional development
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment, ensuring team members feel valued, listened to, and empowered to share ideas and contribute to process improvements
- Work closely with multi-site teams, supporting seamless collaboration and maintaining project alignment across locations
- At least 1 year of experience as a QA Test Lead or in a similar leadership role within Functionality QA (FQA)
- Availability to work fully onsite during the late shift (2 PM - 10 PM)
- B2-level English proficiency or higher for clear communication
- Knowledge of test design, including test case creation and execution
- Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and QA processes
- Familiarity with risk identification, reporting, and escalation
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders
- Ability to track and manage processes and tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
It would be a plus if you have:
- ISTQB Game Testing certification (highly appreciated)
- Experience with cross-platform testing (PC, console, and mobile)
