Responsibilities  

• Design and Develop High-Quality Tests: Create and design reliable tests for Computer product categories, ensuring they are updated with new product features to maintain relevance and accuracy
• Innovate and Validate: Research and stay abreast of emerging technologies and market innovations. Validate hypotheses through comprehensive product testing to support cutting-edge advancements
• Collaborate and Support: Work closely with various departments to identify critical product information that users seek. Provide ongoing support to testing teams throughout the testing process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Share Your Expertise: Serve as a computer product expert by engaging with users through our site forum and email, addressing their questions and concerns

• You are passionate about latency, polling rate, VPN protocol and Wi-Fi band
• You are curious, ingenious, and creative 
• You are methodical and have good analytical skills 
• You love doing research, data acquisition and analysis
• You love design and build measurement tool
• You are a self-learner that learn quickly
• You have a great ability to understand and identify enthusiast’s needs 
• You like to work in collaboration and have a team spirit

Qualification/Experience  

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in mice, keyboard, router and VPN performance 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronic, mechanical, computer, software, etc.) or equivalent background/experiences
• 3-5 years of working experience in engineering or in a relevant field is an asset
• Good knowledge of Matlab or Python
• Good communication skills in English 
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 

*We're open to hiring either an entry-level candidate, or one with more experience as follows:

Test developer I
Entry level position, but other levels can be achieved within two years of employment
Salary range: $70-$85K

• You are a hobbyist for computer products categorie
• You are looking to learn on how to develop test methodology and grow into Level II
• You have basic understanding on engineering principles and their application

Test developer II
Note: Further advancement exists beyond this role
Salary range: $87-$110K

• You are involved in computer product hobbyist communities
• You have developed testing methodology to characterize or check the quality of products before
• You have relevant work experience in engineering

Senior
Salary range: $100-140K

• You are a recognized voice in the computer product hobbyist communities
• You are a specialist on computer product test development, design and/or manufacturing. You have deep expertise in the world of computer product categories
• You have leadership/management experience
