Job Description
Your Mission
As a Test Automation Engineer you will enhance Teya Engineering Team’s capabilities in delivering high-quality payment solutions.
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving our software quality assurance life-cycle, collaborating with development teams to establish test strategies, and developing automated tests to ensure our releases meet the highest standards.
Your expertise will also extend to maintaining our CI flows and troubleshooting system issues.

Responsibilities and duties

Drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and automated testing

Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans that automatically assess whether or not the product works according to specification

Maximize test coverage of various aspects of the application, including UI and functionality.

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

Design, develop automation scripts using available tools

Ensure test plans and automation scripts execution throughout the development life cycle (CI/CD)

Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs and other issues with software before commercial launch.

Foster a continuous improvement by monitoring quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Stay up-to-date with new testing industry tools & techniques
Qualifications
Your Story
Professional
-
work experience in software Quality Assurance
-
strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
-
experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
-
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
-
Familiarity with an Agile/Scrum development process, version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
Optional/Nice To Have
-
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
-
Experience with performance and/or security testing is an advantage

Experience with native mobile application testing
