We're on the lookout for a Test Automation Engineer (Web) to join our team working on a social news aggregation platform.
Responsibilities:
- Automate and maintain test suites for different features on Web app. Increase automation coverage and fix tests to maintain pass rate.
- Monitor hourly and PR test execution reports. Raise issues when they’re found.
- Support weekly release validations.
- Manual testing for not automated scenarios.
- Work closely with the product/development team to analyze upcoming features or changes in existing ones. Make test plans and document test cases in a Test Management Tool. Support them in specific testing requests.
- Maintain and enhance internal test framework built for web testing framework (Playwright / Typescript).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Web testing.
- Strong understanding of web testing concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Typescript.
- Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Playwright.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
- Experience using Test Case Management tools.
- Experience of CI/CD pipeline setup.
- Proficiency with GIT.
- Experience with Jira.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Optional Requirements:
- Knowledge of Python for API testing.
- Scripting skills.
