About This Role

CAE, the global leader in aviation training, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our Dallas team. This role focuses on generating new business in the small fleet category and within specific platforms, booking new client training events, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fulfilling our sales strategy and achieving key targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

    • Prospect for new business opportunities within the small fleet category and designated platforms.
    • Generate leads and book new client training events by evaluating client needs, course prerequisites, and availability.
  • Client Management:

    • Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
    • Manage recurring training events, follow up to ensure completion, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Up-sell additional training courses to enhance client training packages.
  • Sales and Negotiation:

    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients according to established guidelines.
    • Monitor training events through to completion, ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication of payment terms.
    • Assist with payment collection and client check-in, including COD payments.
  • Sales Strategy:

    • Proactively drive the fulfillment of company sales targets and strategy.
    • Focus on key sales targets and strive to exceed goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Collaborate with the Training Services Department to coordinate training commitments and solutions.
    • Facilitate a smooth handover of clients to Account Executives to ensure ongoing positive client relationships.
  • Team Support:

    • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide backup to team members as needed.
    • Ensure accurate client data entry into Salesforce and Gemini systems.

Qualifications:

  • Skills and Experience:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
    • Self-starter with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Education and Background:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
    • Experience in customer/client relations is essential.
    • Aviation industry experience and familiarity with Baan CRM or similar client database software is a plus.
