Job Function:
The Territory Sales Manager – Fertilizer will be responsible for growing sales of our products in the Southeast US Fertilizer market. This will be achieved by building strong connections with current and prospective customers, improving market share and profitability, and identifying new market and segment opportunities. The incumbent will report to the Western Hemisphere Agriculture Sales Director.
Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels with existing and new customers through onsite visits and monthly/quarterly calls.

Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to sales closure and support. Develop strategic account plans and business plans for assigned accounts.

Accurately budget and forecast sales for assigned accounts on a quarterly basis.

Identify new accounts and opportunities through sales calls and research (industry networking, tradeshows, internet), including estimating revenue from potential new opportunities.

Research and analyze market trends and data.

Support promotional efforts for Vibrantz's line of fertilizer products (tradeshows, presentations, brochures, etc.).

Oversee fertilizer product registrations in target geographies, when applicable.

Communicate effectively with internal and external technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
-
Experience in and passion for agriculture and the supporting industry.
-
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing position (Sales, Marketing, Field Service) with a proven track record in building relationships, developing new customers, and closing sales.

Demonstrated business acumen and ability to sell a premium product by communicating value over price.

High ethics, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and self-motivation.

Ability to engage easily with all people and present professionally within the industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Ability to work, communicate, and influence across internal departments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Strong references from Ag business buyers and executives.

Experience in the sales of micronutrients or fertilizers.

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce.
Location:

Remote. Candidate will preferably be located within 50 miles of a major airport for ease of travel, either in the Southeast US, in the Houston area or the Baltimore area.

South-East, USA (TX, OK, FL, LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, NC, AR, TN)
Travel Requirements:

Travel within N. America 50% of the time.
