What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Carrier Partners, etc.). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.
OptiFreight™ Logistics is the leading provider of Inbound, Outbound, and Less than Truckload (LTL) Shipping and freight management services for the Healthcare sector. In this role, our hiring team is seeking a business development professional to market and sell shipping solutions to net new non-acute clients.
As a non-acute business development representative, you will be responsible for marketing and selling shipping solutions to net new non-acute client prospects.
Responsibilities:

Realize and exceed net new annual sales quota

Maintain a healthy sales funnel

Effectively develop internal Cardinal Health and external referral networks

Generate and deliver custom presentations and solutions based on target value proposition

Facilitate implementation process with Operations team
-
Coordinate with account management team to ensure successful customer ramp up
Key aptitude areas:

Proven track record of strong negotiation skills and closing net new B2B business

Demonstrated networking and matrix leadership abilities

Experience developing and executing on a self-developed new business territory strategy

Excellent planning, forecasting, pipeline development and management acumen

Skilled in positively influencing others, while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration and partnership

History of personal development and coachability
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

3+ years of B2B sales experience preferred

Preferred emphasis on selling into healthcare channels (independent reference lab and pharmacy experience is an advantage)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
-
Ability to travel up to 50%
Anticipated salary range: $132,900-$157,700 (includes targeted variable pay)
