The Maintenance Tech 3 provides technical support to equipment, machinery, tools, furniture, modular office and facilities equipment in a high technology level and/or to equipment with a high impact or high-criticality level according to the requirements in each location.
Has the responsibility to perform medium preventive maintenance activities as precision adjustments, replacement of dangerous and/or delicate parts and others related to medium technical skills and specialized preventive maintenance activities that includes predictive maintenance analysis and other related to critical equipment.
Performs corrective maintenance activities including repairs and troubleshooting that requires a deep analysis in order to provide the proper conditions to the internal costumers to accomplish their activities.
The Maintenance Tech 3 also has the responsibility to lead and facilitate special projects that includes but are not limited to machinery or equipment installation, improvement projects, layout modifications, refurbish projects, manufacturing of parts, modifications to equipment, design, and any other project or work requested to the maintenance area by the clients required to achieve their goals focused on the key results.
The person in this position contacts the supervisor to coordinate activities and establish prioritizations. Is able to make decisions to ensure that the activities preformed reach the standards required.
The activities performed by the Maintenance Tech 3 are completely focused on the customer satisfaction, considering costs and resources optimization, reaching quality standards required in accordance with Panduit’s policies and priorities.
Also, is able to use the A3 tool to analyze to identify the root causes of problems. Also able to lead kaizen events to solve those problems.
The person in this position must provide support to the Maintenance Tech 1 and Maintenance Tech 2 to provide the proper support the customers.
