Take ownership for next generation of our energy technology
 

You will provide technical leadership and guidance across the whole process of product definition, from conceptual design to development, testing, manufacturing and production of new equipment for energy transition applications, with specific focus on green hydrogen production by solid oxide electrolyser technology. The main areas of expertise required work will be related to the core electrolysis equipment, such as cells, stacks and hot module as well as the relevant balance of plant design for effective modules integration.
 

As a Technology Development Manager – Solid Oxide Electrolyzers, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Driving design teams & disciplines experts (Electrochemistry, Material, Thermomechanical analysis, Fluid dynamic) from architecture definition to detail components design or selection for hot module and overall solution, to assure systems operability and functionality.

  • Leading the development of projects and technologies related to solid oxide fuel and electrolysis cells.

  • Providing oversight and support for technical rigor of engineering design activities.

  • Assuring design consistency & robust technical risk mitigation execution.

  • Controlling/approving technical documentation for low TRL solution.

  • Executing/Approving RCA, Lessons Learned, Top Issues.

  • Driving new technologies and innovates disciplines for future growth.

  • Developing and supporting Technology Roadmaps and design tools development.

  • Leading technical challenges and innovation on disciplines in project/products dimensions.

  • Participating to the whole process of product definition, from conceptual design to development and testing phase of new solution focus on energy transition products.

  • Participating in main project milestone meetings during development phases and with Customers.

  • Innovating ideas for generation process, pioneering concepts and being an ambassador of Energy Transition.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have master’s or PhD degree in mechanical, energy, process and/or chemical/electrochemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college.

  • Have knowledge in electrochemistry and its application to electrolysis process.

  • Have knowledge of electrolyzer systems and balance of plan and its matching with the stack.

  • Have very good experience in design execution and to provide technical guidance for execution of projects/programs within hydrogen production industry/market.

  • Have very experience in SOEC/SOFC technologies field.

  • Able to fluently speak and write in English.

  • Be open to innovative ideas, ability to drive change and passionate to new technologies.
