Technology and Public Relations Associate

Position Overview:

ShyftLabs is looking for a Technology and Public Relations Associate to align governmental policy with ShyftLabs products & services and deliver targeted messages towards the public sector.

ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that was founded in early 2020, and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies. We deliver digital solutions built to help accelerate the growth of businesses in various industries, by focusing on creating value through innovation. 

Job Description

• Align governmental policy with ShyftLabs products & services to deliver targeted messages towards the public sector.
• Do research and keep on top of policy at federal, provincial and municipal levels. Majorly Canada & US.
• Develop strategy & articulate key opportunities to the leadership team.
• Create briefs, memo’s, white papers in relation to policy and tech.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate in Public policy. (Bachelor or Master Level)
• Experience working for the Government in any sector.
• Experience with digital technology via research published, think tanks, personal blogs, policy research projects, internships or jobs.
• Experience with data would be nice to have.
• Excellent writing and speaking skills.
• Capable of synthesizing extensive documentation into clear, actionable insights for the team.
• Strategic Mindset.
