Do you have a passion for financial technology and a talent for turning complex ideas into clear, engaging content? We are seeking a talented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.            
                                                                    
In this role, you will create comprehensive, user-centric content that drives the adoption and usage of Swift’s products and services. You will be an advocate for the user, ensuring that product and service information is designed and developed to enhance usability and clarity. 
                                                                             
You will work alongside a dynamic, international team who are fully responsible for end-to-end delivery – from customer engagement to operations. What to expect

Develop user-centric knowledge assets

Create and deliver high-quality content that meets the needs of specific users, and aligns with the customer’s journey and knowledge progression. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure all content is accurate and relevant.                                                          

                                                                                   

Drive continuous improvement                                                                                  

Engage with customer-facing teams to gather customer feedback on deliverables. Leverage analytics to generate insights on consumption of knowledge assets. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven improvements.                                                            

Foster team awareness and focus                                                                            

Align with best practices, maintain awareness of peer’s deliverables, and stay focused on shared goals.

                                                                                   

Work transparently and ensure governance                                                        Work in a transparent and auditable manner, maintaining accountability and governance security across your deliverables.

What will make you successful

  • Experience in writing information about technical, legal, or financial subjects for a specific audience type is an asset.
  • Possess a degree in English, Technical Communications, or a computing-related discipline.
  • Team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to learn about technology products and services.
  • Willing to collaborate in an agile development environment.
  • Able to work under deadlines, and to follow best practices.
  • Work quickly and accurately within strict time constraints.
  • Excellent writing skills in English.
  • Ability to chunk and organise information for an audience type.
  • Experience with these tools and operating systems is desirable: Microsoft office Suite, Windows, Linux, UNIX, Adobe Acrobat, Acrolinx.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager or another component content management system (CCMS) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Oxygen XML Editor, other XML or HTML editors, and DITA are a bonus.
