Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Write and improve technical documentation for content creators and developers.
  • Combine text with supporting visual elements to present complex information in a manner that can be easily understood by the target audience.
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread technical documents written by developers.
  • Follow & create documentation standards regarding templates, order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Promote documentation standards and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills.
  • Manage the documentation process, including the creation, editing, versioning, and publishing of documentation.
  • Organize and audit our documents to keep information relevant over time
  • Maintaining documentation knowledgebase (Confluence) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clear structure.
  • Improve overall Confluence usability.
  • Translating existing Polish documentation into English.
  • Assisting in creation of patch notes/release notes/newsletters.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing (writing and providing user and developer documentation)
  • Good knowledge of technical writing principles and style (grammar, syntax, tone/voice, precision, conciseness, parallelism, etc.)
  • Fluent English & Polish (spoken and written).
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and make it accessible
  • Excellent organization and priority management skills
  • Ability to understand quickly basic operating standards and procedures
  • Proactivity in finding the needed information
  • Experience with Confluence and Perforce
  • Knowledge of video editing to create tutorials for content creators using our editor
  • Knowledge of collaborative tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
  • Experience working with technology teams
  • Experience explaining technical topics to a non-technical audience
  • Great interpersonal skills and assertive personality

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in Game Dev industry
  • Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or any in-house game engine
  • Practical knowledge of a programming language
