Position Overview:
This role will focus on documenting business and technical requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders and the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team, and supporting the client’s Data Modernization Initiative, including the design and migration of a new Azure-based data warehouse.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user business requirements, technical documentation, and project process documentation to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems and initiatives.
- Collaborate with public health professionals, business analysts, developers, and administrators to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholder business units and the EDW team to facilitate clear communication, requirements analysis, and the coordination of project tasks.
- Support the design, development, and implementation of the new Azure-based EDW as part of the Data Modernization Initiative.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide technical teams and ensure the delivery of effective solutions.
- Participate in multiple concurrent projects, maintaining high organizational standards while meeting deadlines and delivering quality outcomes.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience with eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholder business units
- 5 years of experience conducting interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, etc.
- 5 years of experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining user and technical documentation for multiple applications
- 5 years of experience translating customer requirements into functional and technical requirements in a clear manner
- 5 years of experience with creating process models, specifications, diagrams, wireframes, and charts to provide direction to the development team
- 5 years of experience communicating, coordinating, and performing as liaison between stakeholder business units and the development team
- Ability to balance work between multiple projects and possess good organizational skills
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, and as a member of a team
- Ability to present complex technical concepts and data to a varied audience effectively
- Experience working in the public health or healthcare industry with various health applications and data preferred.
