Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and FAQs.

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and UX design teams to understand and document new features, product updates, and technical workflows.

• Manage comprehensive style guides and content templates to ensure consistency across all technical documents.

• Review and edit content produced by other team members and provide constructive feedback.

• Analyze product requirements and design specifications to develop appropriate documentation strategies.

• Conduct interviews and obtain technical inputs from subject matter experts (SMEs) to gain a deep understanding of complex technical details.

• Maintain and organize documentation repositories, ensuring all materials are current, relevant, and accessible to stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in technical communication to continuously improve documentation quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing or content development for complex technical products.

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand software development, APIs, and related technologies.

• Proven experience creating end-user documentation, developer guides, and release notes for software products.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.

• Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms such as Confluence, GitHub, Markdown, or similar.

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools like Git.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment, while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

•  Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and research skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with structured writing methodologies (e.g., DITA) or working in an Agile development environment.

• Background in software development, engineering, or other technical fields.

• Familiarity with UX writing principles and a user-centric approach to content creation.

• Experience creating multimedia content (e.g., video tutorials, infographics) is a plus.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

85,000.00 – 120,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
