POSITION SUMMARY
Delivery of technical training classes to customers, partners, and internal staff. Manage customer expectations in the classroom and follow up on all customer queries related to the product delivery or Global Training offerings. Maintain training labs to current product release. Uphold the company’s training delivery to the highest standard as required by the corporation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Present training courses online, at customer site, or at company location, as required
• Maintain product knowledge to remain qualified on selected curriculums.
• Schedule business travel in alignment with corporate guidance and submit expenses within a reasonable timeframe. Up to 50% travel to customer locations may be required
• Prepare, set up, test, and reset training environments before and after each session.
• Coordinate with customer technical contact to evaluate and complete all customer location testing for remote access.
• Ensure customers provide session feedback in a timely manner.
• Complete end of course administration for each event delivered.
• Install, update and maintain the training labs as directed.
• Cross train to become qualified to teach other courses, as business needs dictate.
• Provide training delivery support for instructors that are in session to ensure course delivery continuity.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· BE or BS Degree in IT/Telecommunications or requisite experience in telecom
· Can speak and write fluently in English. The ability to present fluently in additional languages would be an advantage.
• Working Knowledge on IP Networking
• Basic working knowledge of SIP
• Knowledge of Linux commands
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Training delivery or customer presentation experience
• Ability to effectively deliver courseware content.
• Familiarity with MS Teams or equivalent collaboration tools
