- Field technical inquiries for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of nVent/HOFFMAN air conditioners
- Maintain a high level of internal and external communication via phone or e-mail
- Submit repair quotations for non-warranty services
- Collect, compile, and coordinate all support data and technical information required to accurately substantiate, submit, and recover warranty claims
- Lead and/or participate in special projects
- Process field service requests for customers
- Works with Sales, Marketing, Production, Shipping, and other operating functions regarding product, delivery, or service matters
YOU HAVE:
- AA technical degree or 2+ years of technical product-related experience preferred
- HVAC or electrical product troubleshooting experience preferred
- Experience in customer service or sales support
- Knowledge of line and low-voltage electrical circuits and the ability to interpret and understand product drawings preferred
- Skill in identifying root causes of problems/issues and developing recommendations for resolution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
