The Opportunity:

Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Technical Support Specialist 2-Histology, you will:

  • Provide expert technical support to customers by addressing questions related to Roche Tissue Diagnostics analyzer functionality and usage via the Technical Support Center.

  • Document and maintain electronic records related to product complaints in accordance with federal regulations for medical device reporting

  • Analyze and troubleshoot nonfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment, software applications, or reagents to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Serve as the primary support liaison between Roche and customers, recommending solutions to application challenges and maintaining a database for recurring problem analysis and reporting.

  • Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to routine staining, special stains, and Immunohistochemistry, backed by extensive on-the-job training or formal education.

  • Showcase originality and ingenuity while contributing independently or as part of a team toward achieving program or department goals.

  • Collaborate and interface with internal customers and various departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily actions.

Location: Remote, with some required training in Indianapolis, IN.

Schedule: This position operates within a 24/7 support center, requiring flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. The schedule will be determined on a quarterly basis.

Who you are:

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent military training) 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, Histology, Biotechnology or related field

  • Experienced Histotechnologist or similar laboratory experience

  • Knowledge of Roche Tissue/Histology Stainers

  • Availability and willingness to work evening shift and/or weekend hours

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $48,000-$89,100.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
