Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Software Engineer with expertise in lithography equipment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities in network and server management, alongside a deep understanding of embedded software within lithography equipment. Technical Support Engineer locate central office and support field engineer at satellite office. 30% of travel to regional office expected and 30% of travel to Clean Room at Customer Fab is expected both scheduled and unscheduled manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for lithography equipment software systems and its integration to semiconductor fab, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to software integration, network connectivity, and server configuration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address software-related problems promptly.
- Develop and implement software updates and patches, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure software stability and reliability.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and solutions for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in lithography equipment software technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, or related technical field.
- Proven experience(3-5 years) in technical support or software engineering in Semiconductor Industry.
- Expertise in network specialist and/or server specialist capabilities, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, virtualization, and server administration.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skill with customer and 3rd party representative and world wide ASML stakeholder, Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT) >N2, TOEIC >800
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, Java, SQL
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automation or related industries.

- Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination(FE)
- Applied Information Technology Engineer Examination(AP)
- Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT) N1
