Hexcel is seeking a Technical Support Engineer ECP for our Parla location (Spain).
The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations:
- To provide technical support to Hexcel clients in Spain and Portugal. Including solving of technical issues appearing at the customer site during material handling and manufacturing.
- Plan, perform, and report laboratory work according to project plans. Perform data analysis and be able to present results.
- Manage – with autonomy – a variety of ongoing technical projects and activities to ensure the timely completion of defined tasks.
- To maintain fluent communication with our internal customers at Hexcel, mainly dealing with R&T and Production teams across Europe.
- Work effectively both independently and as a team member on multifunctional teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field. Preferred Engineering Degrees: Chemical, Aeronautical or Mechanical.
- Candidates must have less than 3 years of work experience (excluding intern & co-op experience). Experience in industrial environments, especially in the Aerospace sector would be an added value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Composite materials background and project management skills would be a plus.
- Must be willing and able to relocate, and travel domestically and internationally.
