Job Description:

We are currently seeking an eDiscovery Technical Specialist to join our dynamic service driven culture in Zurich. The Technical Specialist role is responsible for providing technical support to global eDiscovery projects.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Participate in consultation with the client to discuss project specifications, workflow and/or issues.
- Maintain proper chain of custody at all times.
- Export and package deliverables for review platforms or subsequent processing.
- Provide troubleshooting services to clients.
- Develop, enhance and maintain operational processes and procedures to ensure a consistent, correct, complete and timely collection and processing of specified sources.
- Providing daily status reports to management.
- Document actions taken while performing data collection and processing tasks.
- Maintain tracking reports for all data collected and processed.
- Potentially work additional hours beyond regular schedule to meet client commitments which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Perform other litigation support tasks as necessary.
- Perform data collections using industry standard tools. Training will be provided.
- Perform data culling and processing using industry standard software. The successful candidate will be required to work with stakeholders in the UK, EU, US and Asia Pacific.
Required Characteristics/Qualifications:
This is a varied role in which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn new skills and specialized technologies in eDiscovery and Computer Forensics. You will have direct exposure to clients and must therefore demonstrate exceptional professionalism and outstanding communication skills. Full training will be provided. It is expected that the successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A general technical understanding and interest in technology and IT infrastructure.
- Basic-level competence in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
- Experience in an IT role is advantageous but not required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. German is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as a team player and independently.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously from a technical and client facing aspect.
- Strong analytical/critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to create documentation on complicated tasks to create repeatable processes.
- A keen interested to learn computer forensics and eDiscovery.
- An understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) - advantageous but not required.
